ACL Festival Guide October 11

Here is our ACL Festival Guide for October 11. We are on to the last day, besides it being unexceptionally hot out there yesterday, it was a great day at ACL and a great turn out as well. We have one more day and it’s another great line up as well. Here are a few suggestions for today, and again check out our ACL Festival Band Picks for more information on some of the less well known bands.

PRO Tips:

If you don’t have to – do not bring a bag, breezing in and out the line will be the best as you don’t have to have your bag searched.
Take the Metro Rail and bike to the festival. It will take you a bit longer to plan, but you really are in and out without a lot of headaches or traffic.
You cannot bring in spray sunscreen, but that is OK, just near the exit there are many spray sunscreens to choose from so you don’t get sunburned.
It will be another HOT one today, wear your swimsuit under your clothes and make a quick dip into Barton Springs Pool which is less than a 5 minute walk. It is open during the festival and it is not that crowded as it is not easily accessible due to no parking available. Bring CASH, as it is cash only to get in and you can get stamped to come in and out all day.
Bring a Camelpak or some sort of empty container to refill with water – they have free water filling stations at the festival
