As a complementary piece to our highlights of Newport Folk Festival 2016, The Revue has put together a 2-part pictorial of the artists featured during the 3-day event, which is held annually each July at Fort Adams State Park. If you missed Part 1, you’re encouraged to flip back to understand the attraction of this festival, and why it is a favourite of many, including the gang at The Revue.
Artists featured in this pictorial (Part II) include Rayland Baxter, Dave Simonett & Dave Carroll, Frightened Rabbit, Del & Dawg, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Father John Misty, Graham Nash, Norah Jones, Patti Smith, Ian Fitzgerald, River Whyless, Joan Shelley, Julien Baker, Son Little, The Strumbellas, Villagers, Hayes Carll, The Oh Hellos, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Phil Cook, Glen Hansard, Middle Brother, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Elvis Costello, Larkin Poe, and Alabama Shakes.
Make sure to keep July 28th to 30th of 2017 open for next year’s festival. The Revue hopes to be back and we look forward to seeing you there !
