John Carroll is both enigmatic and down-to-earth. As a Kemptville resident, and as a husband and father, John lives a life that is typical of most in this part of the world. However, he’s a rare breed as he is making his living as a working musician. That’s very rare.
He hosts weekly shows at Ottawa’s historic Chateau Lafayette (a pub older than Canada itself), and plays consistently across Canada. His younger years were spent doing some serious wandering around the country (and the world), but now he’s mostly based here.
In this episode of The Revue, John tells us about his life in music, and performs some Epic original folk tunes. Thanks for coming out, John, it was a pleasure!
