Heather Woods Broderick - "A Call For Distance"

Heather Woods Broderick has been very busy in the six years since she released her first solo album, From The Ground. She’s toured around the world with the likes of Efterklang, Alela Diane, Laura Gibson, and Sharon Van Etten, recorded music with her brother, Peter Broderick, and recorded her second LP, Glider, which is due out on July 10. This week, NPR has released her first single off of that record, the ethereal “A Call For Distance”.

We’ve been waiting for this record for a while, and it’s actually been on two of our “Most Anticipated Records of The Year” lists. If “A Call For Distance” is any indication, Glider will be well worth the wait
