The Living Statues – “All My Girls”

by

The Living Statues are a young indie-rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that create infectious, hook-driven songs with an ’80s and ’90s vibe. For a more contemporary comparison, they remind us a lot of Jet, the Australian rock band that took the world by storm with singles like “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Rollover DJ”.

The Living Statues’ latest single, “All My Girls”, could be taken from Jet’s debut album. It’s a fun, anthemic number, validating the Milwaukee Journal Sentimental’s statement that they are one of six Wisconsin bands to watch in 2015. If you more convincing, check out “Blackout” below, the first single they released this year.

Also, take a listen to the May 8th Edition of the Weekend Showcase, where you can find “All My Girls” and 20 other new songs from around the globe.
