We have an awesome set of three cover tracks we must share today. The first is from Freedom Fry covering The Smashing Pumpkins’ “1979”. The second is Kishi Bashi covering The Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” and the third is San Fermin covering The Strokes’ “Heart In A Cage”.

Freedom Fry is an emerging LA pop duo whom we have shared before, especially with their cool and upbeat song “Break Into Musical“. They have recently posted an awesome laid back and beautiful version of The Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979.

The next cover is an amazing version of The Talking Head’s “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” by Kishi Bashi with the perfect use of strings in this song. This track will be off the upcoming String Quartet Live! which will be out November 13, 2015 on Joyful Noise Recordings, you can pre-order the album here.

Our third cover is San Fermin recording a steller version of The Strokes’ “Heart In A Cage” and they make it their own with their signature horns and dual vocals.
