Boy from the crowd is from East London and they are creating some awesome rock n roll similar to Nick Cave with a definite blues vibe similar to Jon Spencer. “All I need” grabs your attention from the start and doesn’t let go. “All I Need” Is off of their recently released EP, Where The Bees Come To Die. At first listen of in your face guitar riffs, a bit of Royal Blood comes to mind as well.
The band is comprised of Vinny Piana (vocals, guitar, bass, keys) and Vegas Ivy. (drums and percussion). Piana shares about the state of rock ‘n roll – “One of the things that makes rock ’n’ roll great is its little imperfections and riding on the edge of disaster, knowing full well that any second it could all just fall apart.” Boy from the Crowd has our attention and their title track from the EP is a stellar instrumental track that embodies blues, 70s rock and even a bit of SRV in there.
CLUBS. – “East Coast” (Leicester, UK)

CLUBS. is from Leicester and they are creating some awesome indie rock that you must listen to. We don’t have a lot of info about CLUBS. accept “East Coast” is a pretty killer tune. The band is creating an awesome mix of indie pop-rock with a dreamy shoegaze-ish vibe, but they still have awesome moments of completely rocking out. They have opened for the likes of JAWS and BRNS so you know that means they are awesome.
You can check out their Wild Alive EP on Spotify (“Luminous” is stellar) and discover the true talent of CLUBS. “East Coast” is their newest track and we hope that means there is more new material to come.

If you dig bands like Lord Huron or even Phosphorescent, you should totally become a fan of Old Sea Brigade. Old Sea Brigade is the solo project of Atlanta’s Ben Cramer. He is creating awesome and inviting melodies along with crisp and meaningful lyrics. “Sleep In The Park” ignites emotion with a sorrowful yet beautiful song about loss of relationships.
Cramer’s vocal tone actually reminds us a bit of one of our UK favs, hdhausmann. With Old Sea Brigade’s unique vocals and gripping lyrical storytelling, we feel Old Sea Brigade can definitely make waves in the folk/singer-songwriter arena. Look out for Old Sea Brigades EP release which will be coming out January 22.
