Toronto’s Lindi Ortega has been gigging non-stop for the last few years, and her infinite tour is coming to Ottawa this week for two shows at the NAC (Nov 28 and 29). This time she’s supporting her third record, Tin Star, which was recorded in her new hometown of Nashville.
I got Lindi on the phone as she was driving across Texas for (guess what?) another gig. We talked a lot about her new record, her approach to writing and recording, and what it’s like to play in front of a loud crowd of Social Distortion fans.
