“Behind Your Man” is the late ’60s-inspired, psychedelic rock song from Plum. Unlike the fuzzy, distortion approach of Ty Segall, the Denver-based quartet take a cleaner, smoother interpretation of the genre. Think Temples and early Pond, where the music is infectious with the lush melodies and harmonies.
Also below is “Hello Miss Yellow”, which has a touch of Ty Segall’s brilliant zaniness but it is still a clean, psych track.
“Behind Your Man” can be found on the March 20th edition of the Weekend Showcase, which is a playlist of new music from the indie world.
