2015 has already had some startling and amazing music from singer-songwriters from across the globe. Another one to add to the list is Elle Mary & The Bad Men. The group from Manchester, UK create bone-chilling, haunting indie-folk. Their latest single, “Falling”, is the lead track from their upcoming EP. It echoes of Lady Lamb, especially when Aly Spaltro was known as Lady Lamb the Beekeeper.
And like their music, the band creates music videos that are a bit creepy. Judge for yourself by watching the video for “Falling”.
A bonus track, “Ocean” is also provided that further evidences the band’s music, which can feel dark, lonely, and engrossing all at once.
Elle Mary will be going on a mini-acoustic tour in June to support the EP’s release. Tour dates are below.
Check out the May 8th Edition of the Weekend Showcase, where you can find “Falling” and 20 other new songs from around the globe.
