Dynablaster is a Copenhagen-based trio that makes awesome shoegaze, indie-rock in the mold of Jesus & Mary Chain. They originally named Fede med Band, but for the release of their debut album the band — comprised of Frederik ”Fede” Brandt Jakobsen (guitars, organ, vocals), Sebastian Sharif (drums, backing vocals), and Morten Rauff (bass) — changed their name to Dynablasters.

Their album, Trapped in Amber, was released last month by indie start-up label Vortexas Records, and it includes the infectious “Product of a Boring Thought” that will have you bouncing around. You can get the album, which has a great cover, at the label’s store, iTunes, and Amazon.

You can also hear “Product of a Boring Thought” on the May 15th Edition of the Weekend Showcase, our weekly playlist of 20 singles from around the world.
