Today we are happy to introduce the video premiere of “Wicker Man” from Veludo Planes. “Wicker Man” is the UK based band’s second single. Their debut single was “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” which we have also included in this post.

Veludo Planes is comprised of twin brothers Mike and Chris Smith, Sam and Ollie. Here’s a bit of background on the video from the band. “We shot it in one take in our home town of Southsea and its directed by Barney Arathoon. The song is about being disengaged from reality. This is why we chose to shoot it in one take. It gives the video a certain surrealism. Also the book thrown away in the video is The Snows of Kilimanjaro, short story collection – a nod to our first single. The whole thing is shot on a homemade steady cam, consisting of a bike, broom handle, camera and lots of duck tape.”

Veludo Planes will be finishing out the festival season at Victorious Festival and will be heading back into the studio to record a new single slated for release in late Autumn.

We hope you enjoy the newest single from the up and coming Veludo Planes. If you dig their sound, check them out on all their social media channels. If you love laid back alt garage rock with catchy and poppy choruses,  Veludo Planes is for you.
