The 24th Street Wailers are a Juno nominated Rock’n’Roll/Blues/Vintage R&B band from Toronto. When Waterloo’s local radio station 570News asked the band what fans can expect from their show, they responded: “You are going to see a real Rock n’ Roll show, one that Little Richard may have done in his early career. It may get a little bit crazy or raucous and you will definitely have a good time. The band is on tour with only a few weeks off a year and the result is a tight sounding and looking show. You will remember it.”
The 24th Street Wailers will be celebrating the release of their new album, Where Evil Grows, in Ottawa this Saturday, March 7 at The Rainbow (76 Murray Street in the Byward Market). Admission is $12.
