Los Angeles duo, Aaron Mort and Sami Akbari, who make The Bad Years, recently released their debut EP, Beautiful Liar. It’s a terrific compilation of indie rock and indie-pop songs. The EP is highlighted by the fantastic title track, which is combines the fun of July Talk with the rapturous flavor of Veronica Falls.
The rest of the EP also has some neat gems, like the stunning “Pieces” that has a touch of The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Hear the entire EP below.
