Adam Stockdale is a singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He might be better known for his collaboration with Mumford and Sons and The Avett Brothers, but now Stockdale has released several singles and extended plays over the past four years. Now, Stockdale, under the moniker Albatross, is set to release his debut long player, Desperate Times Best Forgotten. The lead single from the forthcoming album is “Burden to Bear”. The song is low-key, gentle alt-country/folk tune. It’s an extremely intimate and thoughtful track. It’s made for those nights that offer an opportunity to reflect back on someone important in your life or it could be the love ballad for a newlywed couple.

Included below is the teaser for the album, providing some hints of the alt-country and folk mix. Hear more of Albatross’ music on SoundCloud.
